Did Nietzsche really write this? This quote is everywhere on the internets but I can’t find a reference to from whence it came. My understanding is that Nietzsche wrote some books. He didn’t spout this stuff on TV talk shows. So, which book was it? I love this quote even though I find it painful. But I’m starting to wonder if it’s accurately attributed.
I was looking all over for the context of the “love” quote too. It seems it has somehow been misattributed to Mr. N… it was actually written by Simone Weil.
